Eliminate the Risk of Dangerous Sparks

Salisbury by Honeywell is proud to introduce a new line of Non-Sparking and Non-Magnetic Insulated Hand Tools and Tool Kits. These new additions to the Salisbury Insulated Hand Tool family are manufactured from special Aluminum- Bronze and Copper-Beryllium alloys. For safe use in areas where hazardous, flammable, or combustible vapors, liquids, dusts, or residues may be present.

These Non Sparking Tools are specifically designed to eliminate the risk of sparks at sites where explosive atmospheres may be present.

Our safety tools are drop forged for the highest quality in hand tools. These corrosion-resistant tools are suitable for use in ship yards, laboratories, and paper and pulp mills, as well as in the pharmaceutical, food product manufacturing and wine industries.

Every Non-Sparking/Non-Magnetic hand tool is rated for exposure up to 1000 VAC and dielectrically tested at 10,000 VAC, meeting or exceeding ASTM 1505-07 and IEC 900 standards. These tools are necessary for compliance with OSHA 1910.333 (c)(2) and NFPA, and also meet CSA-2462 standards.

Salisbury’s new line of Non-Sparking/Non-Magnetic Hand Tools utilizes the same high impact resistant insulating material as our traditional full line of insulated hand tools. The insulating material is flame retardant and created with two-colors (blue and yellow), making inspection easier, adding to the overall safety. If the yellow under layer is showing, the tool may no longer be insulated properly and should be considered for replacement and shall be removed from service.

Appropriate applications include industries where non-sparking safety tools are required. The non-magnetic feature of these alloys also makes them ideal for working on special machinery with powerful magnets such as MRI machines, military demining and explosives.
