We struggled with how to make my daughter's birthday special during the pandemic shutdown, and it turns out a water slide was the perfect solution!
She had her 2 COVID-bubble friends over, for a total of 4 kids including our 2 under 60 lbs each. It was perfect! The girls had a great time and were on this thing for HOURS! We also had older kids and adults try it out who were 140, 180, and 200lbs each. We allowed them to use it with the rule that no kids could be on it at the same time in case it collapsed; it never did, but we still held the rule for safety.
We bought this in July 2020 and it has been used probably 6 times over the past 2 months by people up to 200lbs with no issues - it's still in perfect condition other than some slight discoloration, I assume from dirty kids running in and out of it, but it doesn't look bad and is still otherwise in great shape!
Pros:
-Easy to set up (just be sure to put the right sprayer ends over the slides and on the cannons - we reversed them the first time)
-Durable
-Lots of space to move around in the pool area (I love laying down and doing "snow angels" to make a wave pool in the bottom while the kids play)
-Pool area isn't deep, so you don't have to worry much about heads going under water at the bottom
-Comes with a great, oversized carrying bag that fits the folded slide easily (doesn't fit the blower, but that has a built in carrying handle)
Cons:
-Heavy
-Hard to dry, and you must get it completely dry or risk dry rot
-Uses A LOT of water, as the sprayers need to be running to use the slides, and the water isn't recirculated, so the hose runs as long as the kids play. Can't wait to see my water bill! hah!
In reality, I think you'd get all of those cons with any water slide, so if you're considering this one - get it!
